Developing Theater in Indonesia

Theater is one of many form of entertainment exist in Indonesia. I think theater should be developed within Indonesia because there are many stories which can be presented to be watched by many people. Either it is a modern or even traditional story. As we know, Indonesia has many traditional stories that quite impressive such as Ramayana Tale, Tangkuban Perahu, etc. By showing that stories pass through theater, the culture of Indonesia would always be eternal. Besides there were many talented Indonesian performers which could support theater in Indonesia such as Alex Komang, Cornelia Agatha, etc. An inexpensive cost would also be another reason to developed theater in Indonesia. With cheap cost to build stage set, making costume, and also cheap ticket price for a spectator would be really appropriate with economy condition Indonesia nowadays. That is why we should developed theater as a form of entertainment in Indonesia.

Music as a way to express my self

Music has been a part of people life nowadays. For me music is important because music express my self. Music can express my mood, when I’m having a sad mood, I will listening the sad music, otherwise when I’m feeling happy I will listening to a happy music. Therefore I will feel happier with the happy song accompanying me. The other reason is that music also can express my personality. Either I’m a mellow person so that I will listen to the music with mellow rhyme, or I’m an ethnic person so that I will listening to traditional songs. Beside mood and personality, music can express my story as well. The lyric from the songs we hear will remind us the story we have been experienced before or the story that we experience right now, for example is Home by Michael Buble, when I’m listening to this song I will remember the story about my hometown. That is why music important to me, because music is a way to express my self.
